ABSTRACT
Airlines reservation is the system that is used to give the best of booking tickets for airline services, hotels etc for the customers. The web technologies have been developed in such a manner that they can provide good services to its users. The airlines reservation system is a web-based application which has been developed in one of the web technologies .Net with backend as SQL Server.
The airlines reservation is the system that provides not only ticket booking services but also it gives the complete information about the Airlines Company. The ticket booking is made very easy that the customer can book tickets, hotels etc., by using the airlines reservation service.
The ticket booking service will accept the requirements of the customers and facilitates and then verifies whether the requested number of tickets for a flight can be booked or not using travel information function. If tickets are available then the requested services are provided. Eventually this service displays the appropriate flights information for selection. This online application is very flexible so that the customer can easily fill his details and receive the ticket in time.

    

Satellite Information System

ABSTRACT
SATELLITE INFORMATION SYSTEM aims at developing 3-tier application. This information management system comprises of modules that support the tracking the status of satellite data products, building forms and reports. This is comprehensive software develops the complete solution for the needs of people working on satellite information. This application gets the information in the form of images from different satellite sources. Information from different satellites such as information related to the weather, security, climatic conditions, route maps etc. Satellite information system takes all the information from all the satellites and stores the information accordingly. This application is going to separate the data and stores it accordingly, such as information related to weather is stored separately and information related to other categories is stored accordingly. That stored data is again presented in the form of different reports basing on the request given by the user. This application is going to store the huge data and that information is available at the time request. User can have the information related to any day at any point of time. Information of previous day, month or year can be available. Admin organizes the data which comes as an input and user can access the data in the required statistical report. User is restricted in using the data basing on the permissions given by the admin.

    

Authentication Through Face Recognition

ABSTRACT
Human faces can be identified with different biometric features, which are genetic properties of a human being. If the biometric features can be extracted from facial image then they can be used for face recognition. Robust face recognition system has potential application in the area of surveillance and physical security. An attempt is being made to implement “facial feature extraction” with a new technique developed by us, for extraction of the facial features in facial feature extraction. It consists of a new technique for extracting facial feature of candidates from the frontal view of a face has been explored. For detection of correct features, a confidence measure has been applied for all combinations of features candidates obtained from an edge-map of the image. In this work a method is proposed to extract the feature points of the face automatically. It provides a feasible way to locate the positions of the mouth, nose and the two eyebrows from face image. This approach would help to extract useful features on human face automatically and improve the accuracy of face recognition. The experiments show that the method presented in this paper could locate the three feature points from faces exactly and quickly. This system is used to compare human faces with a simplest way to compare and secure PCs with minimum cost. It can find the color features of the human beings.

Call Center Management

ABSTRACT
The project “Call Center Management” automates the operations of a call center by giving replies to the customer’s queries. By adding more entries to the data base store, the application can respond to more number of queries from the customers. The importance is given on giving correct reply to the input queries. The project gets the queries from the various customers and stores them in a centralized data store. When there are number of queries the queries are stored up in a queue and then the queries are processed one by one. There are separate blocks called data recognizer for recognizing the data, i.e. queries, and data interpreter for interpreting those queries. The input query from the customer is first recognized by the data recognizer by comparing with the entries in the data base store. In the database the solution for each and every query is stored and maintained. Then it is interpreted as what type of query it is and how it should respond to the query. The input query is compared with the queries in the database store. The solution for the input query is founded. The information service switch switches the application between different type of distributed services. The final result, the reply to the customer’s query is obtained at the end. The project is developed in the environment of .NET. The server side scripting for the website is done through ASP.NET, client presentations do through HTML and VB Script with data stored in SQL SERVER database.

More and more business houses are implementing web site providing functionality for performing commercial transactions over the web. It is reasonable to say that the process of shopping on the web is becoming commonplace. E-Gift Shoppy is a very important feature used in e-commerce to assist people making purchases any products online. This project deals with developing an e-commerce website for online different types of gifts. It provides the user with a catalog of different types of gifts available for purchase in the store. In order to facilitate online purchase a shopping cart is provided to the user. The system is implemented using a 3-tier approach, with a backend database, a middle tier of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and ASP.NET, and a web browser as the front end client.

The product prices are identical with the prices of their normal branches. The e-Post Office is expanded permanently through new products and services in order to offer a product portfolio corresponding to the market. Private customer and business customers can order the selected products of the postal service online quickly and comfortably. Besides this, the e-Services offer new flexibility through e-Packet, the PICKUP order for packages over the Internet as well as the online forwarding order and storage order. For the case of the absence or the move, one can let delegate here the after shipment of the postal service at another address or store the letter shipments. The Agents are involved in the process of the Customer Policy registration and the Commissions are based on the targets achieved by the Agents. Insurance System also maintains the database of the Branch Managers who deals with the Agents which in turn deals with the Customers. The main theme of this project is automation of the Insurance System and processes the all activities through on line. Here the main advantage of this system is to access this database globally for authorized users. The customers pay their payment at any branch and also know their details at any branch. Here dynamically generated the reports like premium payments details, bonus details, due details. The main advantages of this system are to reduce the time and also manpower. These two factors are very important to improve any organization. This system mainly concentrates on these factors.

Issue Management is a web based application. The main concept for developing the project is conference on the net. We can compare the net Conference with the telephone conference. Only the allowed employees can login, and have conference with other allowed employees and individual conclusion is made. It is having mainly two modules. One is at Administration Level and other one is of Employees. It maintains authentication in order to access the application. Administrator task includes Employee Registration i.e., new employee recruitment will take place. News and information about company can access employee. Authorities will refer the complaints that are given by employees. Issues will put in front of related employees to get proper solutions. For selecting higher posts Elections will be conducted. The user modules include reading and checking notice and displayed issues. Employees can register complaint against management. Every employee can participate in the elections. Nominees can put their promise on net through canvas module. Results will be displayed for every issue. On an issue an employee can vote only for once. The Library Management System is designed & developed for a receipt and issuance of books in the library along with the student’s details. The books received in the library are entered in Books Entry form and the new student is entered in the student entry form. When the student wants to get the desired book the same is issued on the availability basis to the student. The issuance and due date for the returning of the book is also entered into the Book Issue form under third menu Book Issue. The student has to pay the fine if any on the basis of no. of days delayed deposit of the book in the library.

The Student Record System maintains records of students, the courses and modules on which they are registered and the outcome of their studies. The system maintains personal information for each student registered at the University. This information consists of the student’s registration number, forename, surname, gender, home address, term-time address and date of birth. There are two distinct categories of student within the University under Graduate Students and Post Graduate Students. For each undergraduate student the system must also maintain a record of the name of the student’s Local Education Authority and an indication of whether they have taken out a student loan. For each post graduate student the system must maintain a record of the name of their sponsor and a flag which indicates whether they are European or International student.
